# Mirrored — A Digital Mirror

Mirrored (mirrored.you) is a personal narrative experience built by Oğuz Birinci. It generates a unique, deeply personalized written reflection about a person's life — their memories, relationships, turning points, and patterns — and gives it back to them in language that feels like recognition rather than analysis.

It is not a personality test. Not an AI coach. Not a productivity tool. Not a horoscope generator. It is a digital mirror: it reflects what you already carry, in a form you can finally see.

## What Mirrored does

A person sits with a guided interview about their life — their parents, formative relationships, student years, working life, turning points, and where they stand today. The conversation takes 15 to 25 minutes. It asks honest questions and waits for honest answers.

After the interview, Mirrored generates a written narrative. It draws on two sources: the person's own words from the conversation, and their birth chart — used not as a belief system or predictive tool, but as a symbolic framework for giving meaning to what has already happened and understanding what is happening now. Astrology here is retrospective and interpretive, never forecasting. The narrative arrives one paragraph at a time. The reader must choose to continue after each one. Rushing is structurally impossible.

The result is a text that feels like being seen. Not surprised — recognized. The best descriptions people give after reading it: "I already knew this, but I've never seen it said like this."

## The three stages

**Interview.** A multi-turn conversation guided by questions refined through many real iterations. Language is auto-detected — the experience works in whatever language the person speaks. Progress is saved throughout, so the interview can be resumed if interrupted.

**Generation.** After the interview ends, the narrative takes time to arrive. This is not a loading problem. It is a threshold. The person has just spoken about their life. The pause is part of the experience.

**Narrative delivery.** The text arrives one paragraph at a time, each one a complete breath — a memory reflected, a pattern named, a thread traced forward. After each paragraph, the person chooses to continue. This makes presence the only path forward.

## What Mirrored is not

- Not a diagnostic tool. It makes no clinical claims.
- Not a coaching service. It offers no advice.
- Not a social platform. There are no public profiles, no feeds, no shared readings.
- Not an engagement product. It does not send notifications, track streaks, or try to bring people back daily.
- Not a data business. Conversation data is never used for training, advertising, or sharing.

## Pricing

Pay-what-feels-right: €11 to €88. The recommended tier is €22. The highest tier is called "I always was." No subscriptions. No hidden fees. A no-questions-asked refund if the narrative doesn't resonate.

## Data and privacy

- Only what's needed is collected: name, email, birth details, interview conversation, generated narrative.
- Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Card details never touch the application.
- Data is stored in Supabase. Narrative generation runs through Google Gemini.
- Conversation data is used only for the person's own narrative. It is never used for model training, RLHF, or algorithmic improvement.
- Users can permanently delete their readings and all associated data. Deletion is final — not archived, not anonymized.
- No ads. No tracking sold to third parties. No data brokerage.

## Design principles

Slowness is intentional. The experience is long by design. The generation waits by design. The narrative arrives slowly by design. Speed is not optimized here — presence is.

Compassion over cleverness. The copy asks permission ("May I"). The interview says "Take your time. This conversation is yours." Payment cancellation says "No worries." The product sounds warm before it sounds smart.

Minimum needed. One experience, done with depth. No features added for hypothetical users. Simplicity is a conviction, not a constraint.
